Andaman and Nicobar Islands are the series of approximately six hundred small and large islands and these islands look like diamond from sky. There is one more famous beach which is known as elephant beach and boats leave from Radhanagar beach to elephant beach. This is the best place for snorkelling.

How to Reach this Place 

The nearest airport for these islands from the main land is Kolkata and Chennai. From there, one can reach Portblair. There is also facility of ships from Visakhapatnam, Kolkata and Chennai. The distance of this island from Port Blair is approximately 50 Km. One can start the journey in morning 6’o clock from Port Blair via ship, otherwise if you own a boat, you can start journey any time. It takes around three to four hours to reach there.

Where to Stay

Dolphin resort is one of the best options to stay there. In addition to this, one can stay in coconut grove Eco friendly hut, jungle resort etc. Price may vary according to customer requirement and tourist season.

The best season to visit this island is October to May and one should make at least seven to eight days plan for visiting these beaches. The rest of the year these islands are covered with heavy rainfall. One should keep enough money in the pocket, so that can enjoy the snorkelling and SCUBA diving which cost between 2000 to 10000.
