Google’ Nexus in space

The first satellite with a smart phone is ready to launch. The British satellite ‘Starand-1’ is about to take off in space for a duration of six months. To control the satellite in space, scientists are planning to fix Nexus-1 to control it. The Satellite manufactured. Although there have been cases of cameras and parts of cameras in the space earlier but it would be for the first time that, a whole operation would be conducted through a smart phone. That is going to make a big story for google and Nexus-1 less with many apps related to satellite Starand-1 would handle the whole operation of photography on its mission.  

No Changes otherwise

According to Space center of Sussex and satellite center of surrey, the combined developers of the satellite have clearly told that they have not made any changes in Nexus-1 a google product as such. The satellite is in India to be launched on 25^th of this month for a six months mission into space.

The smart phone with a camera of 5mega pixel, installed in a box weighing around 4.5 kg with a hole to take pictures of moon and earth in its original form apart a few additional apps to support it in space would undoubtedly a big boost for google. The scientists have clarified that they have done nothing but adding a few apps and connect the camera to Starand-1 through a USB port.

Nexus-1 and Starand-1

The surrey satellite technology has not used Nexus-1 for nothing in their 30 million worth satellite, according to center director but after a thorough research. Nexus-1 is perfect android software, which is open source software capable of unlimited opportunities for future expeditions however, this is for sure that if this mission succeeds the future of space technology would change and not limited to a few selected companies. Android technology would come into fore to handle more research programs with cheaper and quick technologies for sure. 

I am sure google would be looking forward to the successful launch of starand-1 with lot of hopes as the already world famous company would take the world by storm let’s hope for the best.
