Keep extra nutrients in limit

Nowadays booster drinks are available plenty in market. Manufacturers claim that they contain everything needed for the healthy growth of a kid. But it doesn’t mean that only such drinks can make your kid’s growth develop smoothly. Complete food with all nutrients included, taken at regular time is the best food for kid’s physical and mental growth. Such extra-calorie drinks if taken in the morning can kill your kid’s hunger and he may quit his breakfast also. So, it’s better to provide such health drinks as supplements instead of main diet.

 

Extra milk is not sufficient to add height extra

Height and weight of a kid depends on a lot of factors. But it’s already proved that protein content of milk can build his muscles fast. Calcium is also present in milk, enough for growth and development of teeth. Vitamin D is most essential to absorb calcium. Unfortunately Vitamin D is present only in minute quantities in milk. Vitamin D is directly absorbed to our body from sunlight. It is found in leafy vegetables as well. For growth of bones and teeth, in addition to calcium a lot of other facts are also needed. Small fishes, spinach, cheese and paneer are also best supplements. So, for getting good height milk only is not sufficient, a lot of things are to be added extra.

 

Vitamin C supplements and kid’s mental growth

In normal cases such tablets are not needed. In certain health related problems doctors may prescribe. It’s always better to provide vitamins through food. Excess vitamins will be pushed out of the body. Yet excess vitamin A gets deposited in body creating problems.

 

An egg a day – is it healthy?

Eggs supply proteins, vitamin A and fats in plenty and you can give him one per day. But it may lead to skin allergy as well. If so avoid eggs.
