Katrina Kaif – the most beautiful actress of Bollywood at present times is a successful model too. Born to British mother and Indian father, she has true traits of a British than an Indian. Her presence onscreen has always been celebrated by millions of fans all around. She was voted as the sexiest Asian woman in successive years – 2010 and 2011. Among a midst of hit movies, Ek Tha Tiger is the biggest hit of Katrina, the second grosser of Bollywood after 3 idiots.

Katrina Kaif is one among those actresses whose dancing steps and fresh looks are noted most than how she actually performs onscreen. Though she doesn’t put much effort on her roles, audience likes her for lovely looks – a rare phenomenon when people watch actresses for their performances too.

When she was launched in movies through Amitabh Bachchan starrer Boom, everyone criticized actors and its team a lot. Next venture was Maine Kyon Pyar kiya. She did a supporting role in David Dhawan’s comedy, opposite Salman and Sohail Khan. She did full justification to the small role given to her and the movie was a moderate success too. In between she did a couple of Telugu movies and a Malayalam movie opposite Mammooty – Balram Vs Tharadas in 2006. The movie was well received by Kerala audience.

Year 2007 was a big one in Katrina’s life. 4 movies were released this year and all movies become successful too, one after the other- Partner, Namasthe London, Welcome and Apne. Her couple of movies opposite Akshay Kumar became huge successes in Bollywood. Earlier they have done one film together – Hum ko diwana kar gaye which was a box office disaster.

In 2008, 3 movies were released. Yuvraaj failed at box office while the rest two – Singh is King and Race did well at box office. It again proved that she is successful opposite Akshay Kumar. But their venture, Farah Khan’s comedy Tees Maar Khan was a big failure, though it’s remembered for ‘Sheila ki jawani’. In 2009, two more movies of success pair got released. ‘Blue’ failed while ‘De dana dan’ did moderate business. In 2009, New York was released. As an actress, New York is the best movie of her career, the movie remembered for her performance. In all the rest, she was placed as a beautiful doll than an actress. In ‘Ajab prem ki gazab kahani’ also, she did a moderate job. The movie was a block buster. Same was the case of Rajneethi too, where Ranbir and Katrina were paired again for the second time.

In the rest of her career, she has witnessed huge successful movies – Zindagi na milegi dobara, Jab tak hai jaan, Mere brother ki dulhan and Ek tha tiger can be included in this hit list.
