Outram Ghat is one of the beautiful places of Kolkata along the banks of the River Hooghly. This is a multipurpose ghat that is used for conducting rituals and for enjoying swimming in the river. Speed boat cruises and cruising in the traditional wooden boats are also available here. A club for marine adventurers namely Explorer’s Club is functioning here. During the time of Durga Puja idols are immersed in water at this place. Many joyful rides are also available here for kids.
