Gurusaday Museum is a treasure house of folk arts and handicrafts of Bengal. This museum was conceptualized by Sri Gurusaday Dutta who worked as the district collector during the time of British. The museum has a rich collection of more than 3300 exhibits of arts and crafts and reflects the rural life with vivid pictures. This museum has the wonderful Dhokra crafts, Patachitras, terracotta works, the Bengal sarees and the Kalighat School of painting. This has a wonderful collection for culture and art lovers.
