Sur Sagar Palace is built on rectangular platform of white marble. There are two palaces that are built opposite to one another, one built for men and one for women. The king and royal men used the gents palace while the royal ladies and queens used the other one. Two large halls are built on either side of them for the servants and maids. The carved domes and arches bear testimony to the fine architecture of the era.
