Kichan is a village near Jodhpur where there is a birds’ sanctuary. Thousands of Demoiselle Cranes are seen here every year from August to March. They are locally known as Kurjan. This is a good place for the bird lovers and bird watchers. These birds are reported to arrive from Eurasia and Mangolia regions like Poland, Kazakhastan, Ukraine and Black Sea.
