Veenu Paliwal Biography 
Veenu Paliwal was the top female biker from India. Unfortunately she died in a road accident near Gyaraspur, 100 km from Bhopal on 11th April 2016. She was on a nationwide tour on her Harley Davidson motorcycle and was planning to make a documentary on her passion and road trip across the country when death took her away. Her bike slipped near Gyaraspur taking away this great bike rider’s life. She was wearing protective gear. Through her passion and hard work this 44-year old lady really set an example for women by breaking the stereotype, and also a true inspiration to women. Veenu was also an entrepreneur who owned Chah Bar - a Victorian Tea Room Lounge in Jaipur.
Veenu belongs to Rajasthan. She has been driving motorbike since her college days. Her father is also an avid bike rider, who used to take her mother for such rides. Her father’s passion to bikes laid the foundation of her fascination towards bike as well. Veenu’s daughter too used to accompany her for such rides. Her son has not developed a keen interest on bikes. Veenu’s friend Bunty Tanwar (then Director HOG) ignited her passion to bike rides. Veenu later turned a national fame through driving Harley Davidson bikes at 180 kmph. In fact Harley Davidson bikes became her identity. Lady of Harley (Dunes Harley-Davidson) and HOG Rani are the popular names by which she is known. She had to fight prejudices and social norms to earn the name of a successful biker.
Veenu learnt to ride bikes while at college from her friends. She didn’t own a bike then, and so couldn’t continue riding. When she got married her husband didn’t allow her to drive. She ended the marriage to pursue her passion for biking. Veenu was a mother of two. Paliwal was on a nationwide tour with fellow biker, Deepesh Tanwar when death cut her journey short. On 11th April 2016 Veenu’s bike skidded off the road near Gyaraspur, while she was on her way to Bhopal. She had a bad injury for which she was given an injection at a nearby hospital. But later her health started to deteriorate. When she was moved to the next hospital she was declared dead. She had a dream to join politics someday.
