Shreyasi Singh Biography 
Shreyasi Singh is an international-level Indian trap shooter with 2 Commonwealth game medals. This golf player has won a gold medal in the Shooting at the 2018 Commonwealth in Women's double trap and a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games event. She competes in the double trap event and had secured 4th rank in 2010 Commonwealth Games held at Delhi. She belongs to a political family, with both her parents involved with politics. She is the daughter of late parliamentarian and former union minister from Bihar, Digvijay Singh and his wife Putul Kumari who is also a politician and parliamentarian.
Shreyasi Singh was born into a family of politicians. Both her parents - Digvijay Singh and Putul Kumari have served as members of Lok Sabha. Though they are quite busy in social life, they are patrons of sports too. Her father served as the President of The National Rifle Association of India since 1999, till his death. Her mother is also a member of Rifle Association of India, and promotes sports, especially golf. Her grandfather Kumar Serender Singh has also served as the President of The National Rifle Association throughout his lifetime. Shreyasi has one sister too.
Shreyasi hails from Gidhaur in Jamui district of Bihar. She was born in 1991. As a shooter, she gained recognition for the first time in 2010 Common Wealth Games held at India, when she a silver medal at Women's double trap event. In the most recent Common Wealth Games held in 2018, she won a shining gold in the same event. In 2017 National Shooting Championship she represented Bihar and won a gold. She was a part of the Indian team at the 2013 Trap Shooting World Cup held in Acapulco, Mexico, but finished at position 15.
