Kartik Aaryan Tiwari, also known as Kartik Aaryan and Kartik Tiwari is an upcoming Bollywood actor known for the movies – Aakash Vaani and Pyaar Ka Punchnama in which he played lead roles. Only these two movies have been released till now, and both are critically well acclaimed movies. Kaanchi is his upcoming Bollywood movie and sequel of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, in which he plays the lead role has also been announced. His debut movie, Pyaar Ka Punchnama was a surprise hit, followed by the success of Aakash Vani, his second released movie.

Kartik Aaryan was born on 22 November 1988 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He did his schooling from St. Paul's School, Gwalior. Acting was his passion, yet he didn’t find courage to tell about it to his parents. He moved to Navi Mumbai, where he enrolled at D.Y.Patil College to pursue a degree in engineering. Side by side, he decided to pursue an acting career as well. During his college days, he did modelling and also actively participated in drama as a stage actor. In between, he also attended many auditions and finally got his magic role in movies. Luv Ranjan's romantic comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama released in 2011 marked his Bollywood debut, which was a surprise hit and the movie completed 50 days at box office.

He played lead role in his debut movie, alongside a group of young actors - Rayo Bakhirta, Divyendu Sharma, Sonalli Sehgall, Nushrat Bharucha and Ishita Sharma. Though the movie had a poor first day performance, slowly it picked up word-of-mouth promotions and became a commercial hit. This movie also achieved a cult status among youths. His second movie, Aakashvani was aside his co-star of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Nushrat Bharucha.
