Claudia Ciesla Biography

Claudia Ciesla is a Polish-German model and actress, who is currently associated with Indian fashion and entertainment industry. She is a convert to Hinduism. Her father is Polish and mother is German. She is the youngest of three sisters. She shared screen space with Akshay Kumar for Balma song of Khiladi 786. She was a contestant of Bigg Boss season 3, hosted by Big B where she was evicted on day 68. She also appeared in the TV show Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout shot in Argentina. She was the runner-up of the show in 2011, the winner being Kushal Punjabi.

Ciesla started her modelling career at the age of 15 and is a trained dancer too. She has done cover shoots for many leading international magazines like “Motor – Freizeit and Trends“ in Austria. Ciesla was the Brand Ambassador of the "Lovely Professional University" who was honoured with "New promising foreign face in India" title. Apart from Bollywood movie Khiladi 786, she has appeared in Malayalam, Punjabi and Bengali, one film each. She was the item girl for the song Balma of Akshay kumar’s Khiladi 786.

In March 2006, she won a subscribers poll on the internet, where she topped the list of ‘Germany's Super Girl 2006’. She wants to become a tax consultant when her modelling career with come to a halt. She moved to Australia and in 2008 she was chosen as ‘Snow Queen 2008’. During 2007-2008 period she played the role of Daisy Vandenburg in German Internet soap opera Beach House. In 2008, she made her Bollywood debut through Karma, a psychological thriller. She played the role of spirit Linda in this movie. She is a recipient of Karmaveer Puraskaar Award, for her social work in India.
