Ruby Yadav Biography

Ruby Yadav is a Politician from Bharatiya Janata Party and a former model. She is also a social activist, philanthropist and beauty pageant title holder. She holds the international title, Mrs Universe 2015 Asia. As a politician she currently serves as the State President Cultural Cell BJP, Delhi, and also an executive committee member of BJP Delhi. Yadav contested the 2014 parliamentary elections in South Delhi as an independent candidate and lost. She later joined the BJP on 24 June 2014.

Her full name is Ruby Phogat Yadav, and she was born in Muzaffarnagar, U.P in year 1980. Karnawal, a town in Meerut district is her hometown. She completed her schooling from Muzaffarnagar, and later received her master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Chaudhary Charan Singh University. In 2004 she married a Delhi based businessman Vinay Yadav, and settled in Delhi. The couple is blessed with a son.

As a model she started her career after marriage. She became Mrs India queen in December 2013 and represented India at Mrs Universe 2015, where she won the title, Mrs Universe 2015 Asia. Almost at the same she joined politics and unsuccessfully contested 2014 general elections. She was placed fourth with 5% of the vote in the polls. She later joined the BJP on 24 June 2014, and currently is an executive committee member of BJP Delhi State and President at Cultural Cell BJP Delhi State. She has been a social activist in Delhi before joining politics.

She currently serves as National General Secretary at Forum for social justice, National Advisor at Newspaper Association of India, National Convenor IT cell- AlC of SC/ST Organisations and many other elite positions. Yadav is on third place in 20 beautiful politicians in the world.
