Kushal Punjabi Biography

Kushal Punjabi is an Indian film and television actor, who came to limelight with the win of TV reality game show, Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout. He has appeared in Bollywood movies like Kaal, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love, Lakshya, Ssshhhhh and Goal. He has acted in about 20 television serials, Aasman se Aage on Life Ok being his last small screen appearance. He is a wonderful choreographer also and has appeared in about 15 popular music videos. He has been a natural entertainer and has stayed in the entertainment industry for more than one decade or so. He has participated in 7 prominent reality shows and has won 5 of them - Fear Factor, Mr. & Miss TV, Paisa Bhari Padega, Nautica Navigators Challenge, Ek Se Badhkar Ek and Zor Ka Jhatka. He is a professional Modern Jazz and Hip Hop dancer and has choreographed events like Gladrags Manhunt Megamodel, Mrs. India contests and various Fashion shows.

Kushal was born in a Sindhi family in Mumbai. Kushal's father is from Karachi and mother is from Hyderabad. His childhood days and teens were spent in Mumbai. He was active in sports since childhood and cycling, skating, swimming and dancing were his prime interests. He has played football, athletics & swimming during his academic years. He has been an adventurous person who loves travels and adventurous sports. He started his career as a dancer and a model. He participated in Gladrags Manhunt Contest, in the year 2000.

His association for television began in the year 1995 when he worked in the television series, A mouthful of sky for DD Metro. Love Marriage in 2002 on Zee TV, Don in 2006 for Star One, Santaan in 2007 for Star Plus, Kasam se in 2006 for Zee Tv, Sshh koi hain for Star One and King Aasman ka ek raja for Sony TV are other noted television appearances.
