Jagannath Dev Temple was established in the year 1860. The Rathyathra festival is conducted in a grand manner here. Many stories are attached to this temple. Lord Jagannath, Lord Balbhadra and Devi Subhadra are taken in chariots and brought back to the temple on the full moon day. This is known as Rathyathra and it is believed that whoever gets a glimpse of these deities during Rathyathra gets salvation.
