Patna Museum was built in 1917 and holds the historic artifacts that were found in and around Patna. The building was built of the Mughal and Rajput architectural style and is locally called Jadu Ghar.

Some of the items found in the display are archeological remains, coins, paintings, textiles, bronze images, terracotta images and sculptures. It also has rare collection paintings of the British times. There is a fossil tree here that is more than 200 million years old.
