Marty’r Memorial is a life size statue of seven brave men who laid their lives for the Indian independence during the Quit India Movement namely Umakant Prasad Sinha, Ramanand Singh, Satish Prasad Jha, Jagatpati Kumar, Devipada Choudhry, Rajendra Singh and Ramgovind Singh. The foundation stone was laid on 15th August 1947 by the then Bihar governor Jairam Das Daulatram. This is made of bronze cast in Italy and placed here later.
