Raj Ghat is the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. The cremation spot of Mahatma Gandhi was marked by the square black marble platform. An eternal flame is burning at one end of it and the whole structure is located on the Ring Road on the banks of the River Yamuna in Delhi.

 

This memorial was designed by Vanu G. Bhuta and it reflects the simple life of Gandhi. There are many other memorials including that of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi in that Raj Ghat area.
