Srirangapatana Fort is one of the famous forts of South India and was built in 1537. It has four main entrances and a double wall defense system. The residence of Tipu Sultan was located inside this fort and so this is also called Tipu Sultan Fort. The fort is built on the Indo-Islamic style and has two dungeons in the lower chamber used as prison. The landscape around the fort makes it one of the beautiful must see places in Karnataka.
