Shah Najaf Imambara is one of the monuments worth visiting in Lucknow. Moula Ali, the son in law of Prophet Muhammad was given the title of Shah Najaf and this Imambara is dedicated to him. This is in the shape of a dome and located on the right bank of the River Gomti. This structure was built by Nawab Ghazi ud Din Haider as his mausoleum. This serves as the repository of the remains of this nawab and his wives. There is a scenic garden here with many types of flowers. The silver tomb of Ghazi ud Din Haider is located in the middle of the building together with the impressive silver and gold tomb of his wife Mubarak Mahal. These patterns are real delights to watch.
