Dilkusha Kothi was an English baroque style building built in 18th century and was constructed by the British Major Gore Ouseley, the friend of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan. It served as the hunting lodge of Nawabs at that time and later was used as summer resort. It is located on the banks of the River Gomti. It was occupied by the Indians during the revolt of 1857 and was later recaptured by British forces.
