The Tomb of Mariam Zamani was located in Sikandra closer to the Tomb of Akbar the Great. This was built in 1611 A.D. with red sandstone. The carvings on the walls are a great attraction. Mariam Zamani was the mother of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir and this tomb was built by Jahangir in the memory of his mother.
