Sheesh Mahal is situated in the Agra Fort complex and was built by Shah Jahan in 17th century. It is located opposite Musamman Burj and below the Diwan-i-Khas hall. Sheesh Mahal means Glass Palace. The inlay of tiny mirrors on its wall and the glass mosaic decoration has earned it this name.

Sheesh Mahal has two large halls measuring 11.15 meters by 6.40 meters each connected by a broad opening in the center with two narrow passages on the side. This place was used as the harem dressing room and is enclosed on all the sides by high walls.
