Vignesh Karthick Biography

Vignesh Karthick is a cine and television personality from Tamil Nadu. He works with Tamil entertainment industry, and is known as an actor, Video jockey, Stand-up comedian, Radio jockey and Film director. He is active in this field since 2010, and has handled different kinds of roles in which he succeeded. He started off with short films as an actor and director, and later turned a successful host with Tamil television. He has also succeeded as a standup comedian in the industry, and has appeared in Tamil TV shows.

V. Vignesh Karthick was born in Chennai on 18 November 1988. He completed his Engineering degree from Sri Lakshmi Ammal Engineering College before he forayed to his profession as an actor and TV host. He started his career by acting and directing short films. Then he started appearing in reality shows, which helped him to earn initial recognition. He was seen as a standup comedian in TV shows, Athu Ithu Ethu in STAR Vijay and Comedy Jodies in Zee Thamizh. After that he began his successful career as a TV host. Suriya Vanakkam and Thapal Petti En 8484 are among his successful shows as a TV host.

In 2017 he anchored the show, Junior Senior for Zee Tamizh. He worked as an RJ with BIG FM 92.7 in 2015. He marked his acting debut in 2016. Natpadhigaram 79 was his first Tamil release, where he essayed a supporting role. The film opened to mixed reviews upon release. Then he directed one film, Yenda Thalaiyila Yenna Vekkala in 2018. The film belonging to fantasy comedy genre was released on 23 February 2018, and flopped at box office.
