Venu Madhav Biography

Venu Madhav is a famous comedian of Telugu cinema in the recent times. He is active in the industry since late 1990’s and has won Nandi awards for best comedian in the year 2006 for the movie, Lakshmi. He is also a mimicry artist and television anchor who appears in Telugu channels. He played lead role in Telugu movies like Hungama, Bhukailas and Premabhishekam (2008).

He was born on December 30, 1979 in Kodad, Nalgonda to Prabhakar and Savitri. He holds a graduation degree in commerce and started his career doing mimicry shows. He started his acting career doing a bit role in 1997 movie, Sampradayam directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy. But this bit role recognised him as an actor and he got two noted roles for the movies, Tholi Prema and Master which placed him as an established comedian of Telugu film industry. Thus he became a part of film industry, popularly known with the name, Nallu Balu. He played the role of 'Cash' Reddy in his recent release, Body guard in 2012. But after that he was hardly seen on silver screen. Rumours spread that he is affected by ill health and he appeared so lean in the recent times, which added up the fuels. But Venu denied the news stating that he is taking diet control to fit into roles offered most recently.

Hungama, Bhukailas, Premabhishekam, Lakshmi, Dubai Seenu, Kick, PreminchukundamRaa and Brindavanam are his noted Telugu flicks. Apart from Telugu movies, he has also acted as a comedian in a few Malayalam and Tamil movies. Once More please – is his noted television show, widely appreciated by audience.
