Vanya Mishra Biography

Vanya Mishra is a successful model and Femina Miss India World 2012. She also won the titles Miss Rose Glow, Miss photogenic, Miss Colossal Eyes and Miss Beautiful Skin. 115 contestants appeared for the contest. She has also appeared in a few movies. She won the beauty pageant at the age of 20, while she was pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. She has also involved with social work at a younger age. She won the subtitle Miss Rose Glow in 2011. In the Miss World 2012 pageant held in Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, she was able to make it to the top 7. She won the Miss Social Networking and Miss Beauty with a Purpose title in Miss World contest as well.

Vanya Mishra was born on 27 February 1992 in Chandigarh. She was pursing electrical engineering from PEC University of Technology while she participated in Femina Miss India contest in 2012. She got a direct entry in the final 20 of Miss India 2012 contest after winning Dabur Gulabari Miss Rose Glow 2011 title. She was crowned by former beauty queen - Kanistha Dhankhar. Prachi Mishra was selected as Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2012 and Rochelle Maria Rao became Pantaloons Femina Miss India International 2012.

She has been associated with the charity 'Muktangan' and it helped her to earn a few additional points at Miss World Contest. She performed a mujra-style dance on the song Dil cheez kya hai in the talent round for the contest. In the final round she was asked the question, 'Why should you wear the crown?' Finally Miss China 2012, Wen Xia Yu won the title.
