Vaishali Deepak Biography

Vaishali Deepak is a budding young actress associated with south Indian films. She made her film debut through Kannada film Charlie in 2015 in a lead role. In 2016 she made her Tamil debut through Tharkappu where she was seen in a supporting role. Again she was seen in a supporting role in 2016 Kannada horror film – Shivalinga. Now she has signed three films including one Telugu film – Rock which marks her Telugu debut. Thundh Haikla Sahavasa and Santheyalli Nintha Kabira are her upcoming Kannada releases.

Vaishali Deepak was born and brought up in Bangalore. She has been a theater artist before her foray to films. She also interned with film production studios in Mumbai. Later to pursue a career in film industry she made her portfolio and circulated it, in seek of an opportunity. Though she received her first film offer in 2013, due to film delays her first release happened only two years later in 2015. Huchcha 2 was her first role. Unfortunately she got replaced by another actress. Her second film offer, Ayya 2, got shelved. Subsequently Charlie got released in 2015 in lead role, which marked her film debut. The movie was written and directed by Shiva, and she was paired opposite Krishna.

Her debut movie was a delayed project which took two years to get released. But it gained critics’ appreciation. Her role also received rave reviews from critics. Since then she has played some pivot roles in south Indian films. In her recent release Shivalinga, she played Sangeetha, a girl from an orthodox Brahmin family in the horror thriller. Her name was suggested to its director P. Vasu by one of her teachers at her acting school.
