Vaibhav Tatwawadi Biography
Vaibhav Tatwawadi is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Marathi movies. He has also done a few roles in Hindi. He is a very popular actor with Marathi cinema, and has played numerous lead roles since 2014. He marked his acting debut with Marathi film, Son of Madhusudan Patil in 2011. In Hindi, he is best known for the roles of Chimaji Appa in Bajirao Mastani, Kshitij in Hunterr and Manoj in Lipstick Under My Burkha. He played the role of Aahana Kumra’s fiancée in Lipstick Under My Burkha. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi starring Kangana Ranaut is his upcoming flick.
Vaibhav Tatwawadi was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra on 25 September 1988. His father heads a local Engineering College, and his mother is a homemaker, and he has one younger brother. He schooled at Nagpur before moving to Pune in 2006 to pursue engineering degree. Since school days, he had passion towards acting, and started doing theatre also. He was quite active in theater during his undergraduate years at Nagpur, and brought him tremendous success and recognition in the local theatre circuit for his naturalistic acting.
Soon after completing his engineering degree in 2010, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in films. He started off with TV shows in 2010, and then played a brief role in Marathi movie Fakt Ladh Mhana in 2011. As a lead hero, he debut with Surajya in 2014, and the movie garnered positive reviews. Since then he is regular in movies, playing both lead and supporting roles. Hunterrr marked his Bollywood debut in 2015. Coffee Ani Barach Kahi, Shortcut, Mr. and Mrs. Sadachari, Cheater, Kanha, Bhetali Tu Punha and What's Up Lagna are his Marathi releases. He has also appeared in a few Marathi TV shows since 2010.
