Vaibbhav Tatwawdi Biography

Vaibbhav Tatwawdi is a film actor who works in Bollywood and Marathi cinema. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Bajirao Mastani is his upcoming flick and he portrays the role of Chimaji Appa, Bajirao Peshwa's younger brother. He was last seen in the Bollywood adult comedy film – Hunterrr, where he portrayed the memorable role of good guy Kshitij, Gulshan Devaiah’s close friend who was a soldier. The movie proved to be a real break to his acting career. He is active in the industry since 2014 after doing a few uncredited roles.

Vaibbhav was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra in 1988. His father Dr. Vivek Tatwawadi is the principal of a private Engineering college while his mother, Sheela is a homemaker. His younger brother is an entrepreneur. He completed schooling from Nagpur and Engineering from Pune. He was drawn towards theatre since his school days and loved experiments in it. He was actively associated with stage shows during his intermediate years and earned him recognition in the local theatre circuit. He completed engineering in 2010 and moved to Mumbai the following year to pursue a career in entertainment field.

After a few struggles, he debut Marathi television in the year 2011 and worked for a while. He was also seen in multistarrer Marathi action film, Fakta Ladh Mhana in an uncredited role. He made his Marathi film debut in 2014 with the movie, Surajya as lead hero. The movie was directed by award winning Director Santosh Manjrekar, and Mrunal Thakur played the female lead. His acting received good reviews from critics though the movie was an average grosser. Coffee: Ani Barach Kahi (2015) alongside Prarthana Behere was his second Marathi film, which was a hit. Shortcut was his second Marathi release of the year. Hunterrr released the same year gave him the big break to Bollywood and Bajirao Mastani is his upcoming flick. Mr. and Mrs. Sadachari, Cheater and Ishq Prem Love are his upcoming Marathi movies.
