V. K. Prakash Biography 
V. K. Prakash is a south Indian film director and ad director associated with Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada movies. He has also been associated with a few Bollywood projects and owns his ad production company – Trendz. Prakash exhibited his talents as a director with his debut movie itself. His maiden project, Punaradhivasam released in the year 2000 bagged many awards including National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam and Kerala State Film Award for Best Debut Director and Best Story. In 2006, his movie Moonnamathoral became the first high-definition cinema to be digitally distributed to theatres via satellite in Malayalam.
As a film director, he is best known for the movies like Beautiful (2011), Trivandrum Lodge (2012) and Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla (2013). Beautiful (2011) and Trivandrum Lodge (2012) are known for the successful association of actors – Anoop Menon and Jayasurya. Trivandrum Lodge is also known for its bold subject and the movie established actress Honey Rose as a star. Silence with Mammootty playing the lead role is his latest release. This thriller also starred Anoop Menon, Pallavi Purohit, Joy Mathew and Jayaprakash Kuloor and movie received mixed response from critics. Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla starring Fahadh Faasil and Kamalinee Mukherjee in lead roles also received good response from critics and audience. Three Kings, Poppins, Gulumal: The Escape, Positive, Mullavalliyum Thenmavum and Kavya’s Diary are a few more memorable works.
Prakash has also directed two Bollywood films and one Kannada movie. Freaky Chakra and Phir Kabhi are his Bollywood movies. Aidondla Aidu in 2010 marked his Kannada debut. This director is known for his energy, passion and positiveness in the film industry.
