Tovino Thomas Biography 
Tovino Thomas is a model and upcoming Malayalam film actor. Tovino played the role of lead antagonist in hit movie, ABCD (Malayalam – 2013), which gained him popularity. Koothara, 7th day and Starring Pournami are his upcoming projects. Though he owns a charming face, he became popular for handling negative roles onscreen. Through the hit movie, ABCD, he portrayed a politician named Akhilesh Varma and this single negative character gained him popularity among Malayalam audience.
He was born on 21 January 1989 in Irinjalakuda, Thrissur of Kerala state as the younger son of Advocate Ellikkal Thomas and Sheela Thomas. He has two siblings who are the real inspirations to film field. He completed his schooling in Don Bosco High School, Irinjalakuda and graduated with an Engineering degree from Tamil Nadu. He worked in Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai as a software engineer for a short period before entering movies. His real dream was acting and he completed graduation only to gain a degree. He struggled for two years before getting a film offer.
Before entering acting field, he worked as an assistant director of Malayalam cinema. He worked as assistant for the movie, Theevram. Production controller – Alex T Kurien and Photographer Abrid Shine suggested his name to the director Martin Prakad and thus he was offered the role of main antagonist in the movie ABCD. He made a lot of preparations for the movie, ABCD. As director suggested, he stopped going gym and did food control. Martin also gave him a trainer to concentrate on to dialogue delivery and conversations for the movie. He has also appeared in a few television ads, short films and photo shoots before. The ad of Indulekha hair oil clicked and gained him popularity.
