Tara Alisha Biography

Tara Alisha Berry, also called Tara Alisha is a film actress of Bollywood and Telugu film industry. Telugu film - Money Money, More Money directed by J. D. Chakravarthy was her debut film and she was seen in a cameo role in 100% Love. She made her Bollywood debut with 2014 critically appreciated film – Mastram, where she portrayed the female antagonist Renu. The movie was premiered at Mumbai Film Festival in October 2013, ahead of its theatric release.

 

After a promising debut in Bollywood, her next release is 'Gun Pe Done', where she plays the role of a moody struggling actress Razia. 'Gun Pe Done' also features Jimmy Sheirgill and Vijay Raaz. Last seen in Anurag Basu's Chokher Bali, and Prakash Nambiar’s The Perfect Girl in lead roles, both released in 2015, she has signed a three-film deal with Vishesh Films. The first film of the series, titled Love Games is directed by Vikram Bhatt and she is expected to play a multi-dimensional role, where she needs to perfect many layers of her personality. Patralekha also plays a pivot role in this film.

 

Tara Alisha was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra to Gautham Berry and Nandini Sen. She completed school education from Bangalore. Later she studied Film Production and screenwriting at Chapman University in Orange County, California, before her foray to films. But she entered films as an actress. She was first seen in a supporting role in the third sequel of the movie, Money (1993). The movie was titled Money Money, More Money, where she portrayed the supporting role of Meghana. She was also seen in the cameo role of Swapna in the Telugu film – 100% love. With her magical debut in Bollywood with the award winning film - Mastram, she received many meaty roles later and she is now an established actress of Bollywood.
