Suseenthiran Biography 
Suseenthiran is a south Indian film director who has worked in both Tamil and Telugu languages. He debut direction with 2009 Tamil movie - Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu with Vishnu and Saranya Mohan in leading roles. The movie focused on Indian sport, Kabadi for which he received a nomination at Filmfare Award for Best Director – Tamil. In 2011, he directed the movie ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai’ which earned critical appreciation. The movie owns the credit of second one after Kannathil Muthamittal to be screened at Toronto International film festival and also received National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Naan Mahaan Alla, Rajapattai, Pandianadu and Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer are his other releases. He has announced his 7th project, Jeeva which stars Vishnu and Sri Divya in lead roles.
He was born in 1978 in Palani. Since childhood he has been crazy about movies. His father and uncle together made one movie, but the movie was not released. They even advised Suseenthiran to follow their path. But he was determined to become a film director one day. So, at the age of 18 he reached Chennai. He worked as an assistant with many film directors of the industry and made his first independent project after 12 years. Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu brought his instant recognition as a director. In 2011, he directed the movie, ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ with Karthi and Kajal Aggarwal in pivot roles. The movie based on a real life incident received positive responses from critics as well as from audience.
With the third project, he became one of the most established directors of Tamil film industry. The movie ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai’ is noted most for the memorable performance of Appukutty. But the same year, Rajapattai with Vikram in the lead was a critical and commercial failure. It was counted among one of the worst movies of the year. But he regained his momentum with next two movies released in 2013 - Pandiya Naadu and Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer. Both these movies were praised by critics as well as audience. Now his dream is to work with superstar Ajith.
