Sujeeth Reddy, shortly called Sujeeth is a budding film director and screenwriter associated with Telugu cinema, who tasted success with his debut film, Run Raja Run released in 2014. He was only 24 when he received success through his maiden venture. Sujeeth has been in limelight since the film Baahubali: The Conclusion got released in 2017. It’s solely because Baahubali star Prabhas is to play lead role in his second and upcoming action thriller film Saaho, which has already received a lot of hype since its announcement, and the trailer attached with Baahubali 2 theatric release has received overwhelming response from cine lovers. It’s after long 4 years Prabhas accepted a film assignment and Sujeeth is to script and direct this film.

Sujeeth directed 38 short films before entering Tollywood as a director at the age of 23. The producers Vamsi and Pramod took in entrusting the Rs 4-crore project in the hands of a 23-year-old has paid off, and Sujeeth’s debut film Run Raja Run was one of the surprising hits of the year 2014. It was a romantic comedy starring Sharwanand and Seerat Kapoor. Sujeeth holds a film degree from LV Prasad Film & TV Academy, and was supposed to make his directorial debut at 22. He was signed on to direct a Telugu film at 22, but the film got shelved.

Since his academic studies at from LV Prasad Film & TV Academy, he had several short film assignments as academic projects, and he had to complete them in string shoe budget. The director later certifies that his experience in short film making has helped him a lot in directing full-fledged feature films. He is to direct his second film, Saaho, a film with a huge budget of 150 crore. The movie is to be made in Hindi and Telugu, and film stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. He scripts the movie as well.
