Srabanti Chatterjee Biography 
Srabanti Chatterjee Biswas is a noted Bengali actress and model who is equally popular in Bengal and Bangladesh. Commonly called Srabanti she is a very popular name in Tollywood industry, known for her good looking and cute image. She appeared in Bengali movies like Wanted, Amanush, Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo, Idiot, Deewana, Kanamachi, Goynar Baksho, Majnu, Bindaas etc. She began her career as a child artist in Mayar Badhon (1997) and Champion, released in 2003 marked her debut as an adult actress. She got married at a younger age to assistant director of Bollywood, Rajib Biswas and after a short break she returned in 2008 film Bhalobasha Bhalobasha. At present she is a successful actress of Bengali cinema who owns many hit movies in her credit.
She was born in Kolkata on 13 August 1987. Her nick name is Shrabonti. After her big screen debut as a child artist in 1997, she made her adult actress entry with Champion, released in 2003. Then she took a break from the industry after marriage with Rajib Biswas and returned back only in 2008. She has one son and she spends her time with family and her hobbies which include gardening and cooking. She has also acted in television serials, Sudhu Tomari Janya and Janmabhumi. Champion, Bhalobasha Bhalobasha, Wanted, Amanush, Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo and Fighter are her box office hits.
She got married to Biswas at a younger age and got disappeared from screen after the release of her first movie, Champion. The latest rumour about this actress is that the couple is heading towards a divorce. The couple has one 10-year old son named Jhinuk. She filed divorce citing reason that her husband used to physically abuse her. As per latest news, Chatterjee has developed a relationship with Vikram Sharma, though she denies it.
