Sivaji Biography

Sivaji is a south Indian actor known for comic ad supporting roles. Now he is an established comedian of Telugu film industry. He is known for playing supporting role in 2001 Telugu blockbuster Khushi. Apart from his career as an actor, he has produced one movie, titled Taj Mahal and has also rendered his voice many actors as a dubbing artist. He received Nandi award for best dubbing artist for the movie, Dil, where he gave his voice to actor Nitin. Misamma is his first hit movie as a solo hero and 'Sandade Sandadi' is another noted work. Though he played lead role in many movies, none have been successful. He entered movies in the late 1990’s. He loves to keep himself busy with his work.

 

He didn’t come from a filmy background and doesn’t had anyone related to movies to suggest his name to film producers. He gained popularity as an actor through his acting caliber and the right choice of roles. He feels that comedy should never be categorised into sub-genres because it limits the viewership. He is very particular about the content in his chosen projects and always ensures that his roles entertain viewers. He started his career doing bit roles in the late 1990’s. A few of his early releases are Kiranante idera, Priyamaina Neeku, Kiran, Khushi, College life, Bachelor’s life and Chiranjeevulu. Kushi and Indra are the notable movies in the early phase of his career.

 

Then he started his successful career as a dubbing artist. The movies, Missamma and Sandade Sandadi helped him to draw attention of audience. However his solo hero movies flopped one after the other and many heroines of the industry were not interested in signing films opposite him. Thus he slowly moved to supporting roles.
