Shruti Sodhi Biography

Shruti Sodhi is a noted film actress who works in south Indian cinema, Bollywood and Punjabi movies. She has appeared in a few Telugu movies, apart from one Mandarin film, Buddies in India released in 2017. She was seen in Punjabi movies - Happy Go Lucky, Mr. & Mrs. 420, Vaisakhi List and Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar. She has also worked as news anchor in two TV channels. She marked her south Indian film debut with super hit Pataas (Telugu film) in 2015. She portrayed the character of Mahati in this Telugu film. Shruti Sodhi mostly plays supporting role on big screen.

Shruti Sodhi hails from the capital city, Delhi and was born in the year 1990. She completed her graduation in philosophy and started her career in television as a news anchor before she switched into film acting. She also hosted one Travel show. Acting bug bit her, and that’s why she moved to Mumbai ti pursue a career in films. She bagged two Punjabi movies. She marked her film debut through Punjabi film, Happy Go Lucky in 2014 where she essayed the supporting role of Jas. She did the role of same character name for her second Punjabi film, Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar released the same year, and was also seen in the movie, Mr & Mrs 420.

The following year she marked her south Indian film debut through Telugu film, Pataas. She played the role of a journalist in her debut flick. Later she did two more films in Tollywood – Supreme and Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, both released in 2016. She was seen in a dance sequence for the movie, Supreme. She also appeared in one Mandarin film, Buddies in India, where she played the brief role of Princess Iron Fan.
