Shilpi Sharma Biography

Shilpi Sharma is an Indian film actress and model who works in south Indian film industry. She is to enter the magic world of Bollywood with the film - No Entry Mein Entry, sequel of Salman Khan’s blockbuster hit ‘No Entry’. She was seen in a special appearance song in Telugu film - Current Theega. Made her film debut with Telugu film – Aakramana in 2014, she received SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Female for the Kannada movie directed by Prashanth Kumar N. She is currently working in a few untitled projects of Telugu.

Shilpi Sharma was born on 1 March 1992 in New Delhi. After graduation, she did a professional course from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi and also participated in theatre workshops conducted by Nadira Babbar in Juhu. She started her modelling career in 2006 at the age of 14, when she participated in 'Miss Delhi Teen Queen' beauty contest held at Delhi. She participated in Miss Pune Competition in 2010 and 2012, and won the subtitles - Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Beautiful Smile in 2012. To pursue a career in modelling she moved to Mumbai where she started with TV ads, print ads etc. She also played the role of a ramp model for several fashion shows across the country and appeared in the covers of many leading fashion magazines.

She had a brief stint in television before her foray to films. She was seen in the supporting role of Kajal in Kahani Chandrakanta Ki for Sahara One. Telugu film Green Signal, marked her film debut in 2014. She played one of the leads for the movie. The big break to her acting career was 2014 Kannada horror film, Aakramana, where she played female lead. She shared screen space with Raghu Mukherjee and Daisy shah for the movie. She received SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Female for her role. It’s the first 3D horror movie in Kannada.
