Sherlyn Chopra is an Indian model and actress who is known for her nude posts in social networking site, twitter. She is a successful model and always remained in limelight for her controversial photo shoots. She reached Bollywood doing roles in B-grade films and later appeared in noted movies like Time Pass, Red Swastik and Game. She has also participated as a contestant in popular reality show of Colors TV – Bigg Boss in 2009 and currently she is hosting the show, MTV Splitsvilla (Season 6) in MTV. Most recently in December 2013, she released her Music Single titled 'Bad Girl' and the video went viral over net.

She was born in 11 February 1984 in Hyderabad. Her father was a Christian and her mother, a Muslim. She did schooling from Stanley Girls High School and graduation from Saint Ann's College for Women in Secunderabad. She has won Miss Andhra contest while at college. She was a bookworm while at college. Sherlyn Chopra started her career as Mona Chopra and starred in several B-grade films. She debut south Indian cinema with Telugu movie, Vendi Mabbulu in 2002. She also acted in an English movie, Beeper. In the year 2005, she worked in a Telugu film named A Film By Arvind. Later she got a few good roles from Bollywood like Time Pass, Dosti: Friends Forever, Jawani Diwani, Red Swastik and Game.

Realizing the importance of publicity, she extensively promoted herself online. She changed her name to Sherlyn Chopra. This western name was given by Dale Bhagwagar, a PR agent hired by Chopra and he gave her a new look. She did many photo shots with many photos being provocative and was distributed online. She even posted her nude and seminude photos on net, ride on Horseback nude being the best instance. Her upcoming movie is Kamasutra 3D, shot in English.
