Sanju Sivram Biography

Sanju Sivram is a noted film actor associated with Malayalam film industry. Entered film industry playing supporting and parallel lead roles, he played his first lead role movie through Hello Namasthe in 2016. The ensemble star cast included Vinay Forrt, Bhavana, Miya, Aju Varghese, Mukesh, Joju George and Soubin Shahir, and he played lead role aside Vinay Forrt. Miya George played his female lead in this film. 1983 and Nee Ko Nja Cha were other noted roles till then. He has also acted in short films and currently works as TV host as well.

His real name is Gopakumar. He was born on 5 September 1984 in Kolkata, West Bengal. He made his silver screen debut with 'Ne Ko Nja Cha' in 2013, where he played one of the main leads aside Sunny Wayne and Praveen, and the film was a box office hit. The film’s success earned him many roles in Malayalam films, most notably character roles. He was seen in 1983, Bharya Athra Pora, 100 Degree Celsius, Beware of Dogs, Monsoon Mangoes etc, before he was offered the lead role in Hello Namasthe. The film showed on screen, a friendship story of two characters played by Vinay Forrt and Sanju, and how the tensions between their spouses drift them apart.

In 2017 he made a promising debut in Telugu film scene. He acted in Rajesh Touchriver’s Raktham where he played the role of a Naxalite. He currently hosts the show, Malayali Veetamma on Flowers TV aside Ashwathy Srikanth since 2016. Before he joined film industry he worked with TATA AIG Life for a short period. His school education was completed at Chinmaya Vidyalaya and later pursued graduation from South City College. He was a part of the short films - ‘A Friday’ and ‘Maniyara’.
