Sanjai Mishra, also known as Sanjay Mishra is a popular comedian of Bollywood. His popular roles are Satya (1998), Saathiya (2002), Bunty aur Babli (2005), Golmaal, Guru, Apna Sapna Money Money (2006), Welcome, Anwar, Dhamaal (2007), Krazzy 4, God Tussi Great Ho, Halla Bol, Tashan, C Kkompany, Golmaal returns (2008), Love Khichdi, All the Best: Fun Begins, Khallballi!: Fun Unlimited (2009), Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? , Pappu Can't Dance Saala , Golmaal 3, Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010), Chatur Singh Two Star, Utt Pataang (2011), Joker, Hum tum shabana, Khiladi 786, Son of Sardaar (2012), Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Boss (2013) and Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein (2002). He is known for character roles as well as comic ones. Now he is busy with his first project as a director - Pranaam Walekum.

Sanjay is also known for his character of Apple Singh, an "icon" used by ESPN Star Sports during the 1999 Cricket World Cup. He debut with Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India! in 1995, followed by bit roles in Satya, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Dil se, Wajood and Raj Kumar. He came to limelight during middle 2000’s when he was casted in First series of ‘Golmaal Package’. Its success prompted the producer to cast him in its next two packages. Golmaal series is one among the most memorable performances of this actor till now. He has also worked as a dubbing artist for animated movies - Toonpur Ka Super Hero and Roadside Romeo.

Sanjay was born on 6 October 1963 in Bihar as the son of a journalist. He passed out from National School of Drama in 1989. Later he appeared in bit roles in movies, serials and TV commercials. His ad aside Big B for Mirinda was one of his earliest breaks. In 2011, he received best comedian award at Indian TV Global honours award and Star Screen Awards for Phas Gaye Re Obama. He has also received nomination for best comedian for Aaloo chat and All the best.
