Saniya Thara Biography

Sanyathara is a south Indian film actress, who predominantly works in Tamil movies. She is also known by the names - Sania Sheik,SaniyaThara and SaneaThara. She is a great fan of Tennis player SaniaMirza and Film actress Nayanthara. Combining the names of both, she took the screen name Sanyathara, which she feels lucky. Made her film debut in 2010 with the film Nalamdhana, she was later seen in the movies - OruvarMeethuIruvarSainthu,PanivizhumMalarvanam,Adhu Vera Idhu Vera,Jeeva and VannaJigina. With a promising career ahead, a number of movies are lined for release, Sankarapuram,VaaraayoVennilaave,ThagaduThagadu, Mei Maranthen,KadaiEnn 6,EllamNeeyanai to mention.

She is a Hyderabad based model who was previously known as Sanya Sheik. Just before the release of the film - VannaJigina, where she was paired with Vijay Vasanth, she changed her name to Sanyathara following her admiration towards Nayanthara, the lead south Indian actress. She played the role of an IT professional in the film VannaJigina, who falls in love with an fb friend who later turned to be an auto driver, who regularly drops and picks up IT professionals.

She was paired with Varshan - comedian Jayamani’s son for the less-known movie, AthuVeraiIthuVerai. But the movie helped her to remain in spotlight for a while. The movie was directed by M. Thilakarajan. She made her film debut with less known movie – Nalamdhana, released in 2010, in which she played one among the main leads. She shared screen space with Sri Kumar, Sri Vishnu and Jothisha for this drama film directed by Madhuvannan.
