Sandra Thomas Biography

Sandra Thomas is a film actress and producer of Malayalam cinema. She is the co-producer of 2013 releases - Zachariayude Garbhinikal and Philips and the Monkey Pen and she produced the movies under her home productions - Friday Film House. Actor cum television personality Vijay Babu is the co-owner of this production house. As a film actress she is best known for the comedy - Zachariayude Garbhinikal and Kili Poyi. She also played character role Mariyamma in 2013 blockbuster movie Amen. She has been a child artist and has returned to movies in 2013 as an actress and film producer. As a child artist she has worked in the 1990s movies like Olympiyan Anthony Adam, Mimics Parade, O' Faby, Nettipattam, Cheppu Kilukkana Changathi etc.

Sandra Thomas was born on 1 January 1986 in Thrissur. She has one younger sister. She currently resides in Kochi. She schooled from Mary Matha Higher Secondary School Vazhakkala and later completed BBA and MIB from Tamil Nadu. She was quite active in the films in the 1990s as a child artist and has worked with many veterans like Mohanlal, Sreenivasan, Meena, Rekha etc. Currently she owns a production house aside Vijay Babu, who is an ace actor of Mollywood at present. In 2012 she made her debut as a producer through the highly acclaimed movie, Friday starring Fahadh Faasil and Ann Augustine in the lead roles. The production house also derived its name from the title of the movie – Friday.

Later Friday Film House produced blockbuster movies like ‘Philips and the Monkey Pen’ and Peruchazhi. Aadu,Oru bheekarajeeviyaanu..! is an upcoming movie. Philips and the Monkey Pen received special jury award at Kerala state awards.
