Sameer Dharmadhikari Biography

Sameer Dharmadhikari is an Indian film and television actor and a successful model. He works in Bollywood and Marathi cinema. He is better known for his performances on the small screen. He belongs to Pune, Maharashtra. He has been a hydraulic machine designer in profession before entering entertainment industry and is also a successful theatre artist. He mostly portrays character and supporting roles in films. He entered Bollywood in the late 1990s. He co-starred Raveena Tandon in national award winning Madhur Bhandarkar film – Satta in 2003. Dil kya kare in 1999 is one of his earliest Bollywood appearances. Agnipankh, Rafta rafta, Speed, Raincoat, Mumbai meri jaan, Singham returns and Rang Rasiya are some of his noted Bollywood movies. Currently he is busy with television series.

Dharmadhikari belongs to Pune, Maharashtra. He was born in the year 1973. He has been a hydraulic machine designer before entering film and modelling industry. He did modeling for various brands like De Beers, Vimal Suitings, Nescafe, ICICI Bank etc during his early days. Sameer started his film career with a Marathi film, Nirmala Machindra Kamble (1999). Very soon he made his Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgan-Kajol starrer Dil kya kare in a small role. He played a small role in the English film Quicksand (2002). Perhaps his best known performance up-to-date is Satta where he played a negative shaded role of Raveena tandon’s husband – the character named Vivek Chauhan. He also played parallel lead in 2004 movie – Agni Pankh.

Later he managed to get only small and less significant roles in Bollywood and he switched on to television, which proved to be the right decision. He is a seasonal film actor too and most recently he was seen in blockbuster – Singham returns. 'Fear Files', 'Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli', 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon', 'Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahani... Jhansi Ki Rani' etc are his noted television works. He also appeared in Marathi movies - 'Baburao La Pakda', 'Lalbaug Parel', and 'Nirmala Machindra Kamble'.
