Samay Raj Thakkar Biography

Samay Raj Thakkar is a very successful dubbing artist and voice over artist who closely works with Hindi entertainment industry. Apart from Pawan Kalra, Samay is widely regarded as Indian voice of Hollywood action star, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Samay has been associated with Hindi dubbing of live action Hollywood films, animation film for kids as well as south Indian masala entertainers of superstars. He dubbed for the very popular character Kattappa for the animated series Baahubali: The Lost Legends released in 2017. He has done over a 100 of different characters.  His son Vaibhav Thakkar is also a voice actor.

This dubbing artist is also known by the names - Samay T, Samay V. Thakkar, Samay Thakkar etc. Samay has also acted in a few television serials in supporting roles. He earned success and popularity in Hindi entertainment industry as a dubbing artist. He was born on 21 October 1966 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As a dubbing artist, some of his best works include - Christian Bale's role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the Christopher Nolan's Batman reboot trilogy, and also many Hindi dubbed versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Among the south Indian stars, he frequently dubs for megastars – Ajith, Vikram and Nagarjuna, mostly for action movies in Tamil and Telugu.

He has also dubbed for Hindi television serials like CID, Goosebumps, Luke Cake etc. Apart from south Indian superstars he has also rendered his voice for character/negative artists like Prakash Raj, Biju Menon, Rahul Dev etc. He dubbed for Chiyan Vikram in Saamy, Prakash raj for Pokkiri, Suresh Gopi for I etc. His voice for Kattappa in the Hindi version of Bahubali was well accepted by audience.
