Sakshi Agarwal Biography

Sakshi Agarwal is a model from Chennai known for her work in Tamil cinema. She had earlier worked in a couple of Kannada movies before doing Tamil. She has also done several photo shoots and TV commercials. Yoogan, the horror film, Aadyan, the action thriller and Thrittu Vcd, the comedy are her released Tamil movies, and she played female lead in both. Kalyan Silks is one of her popular ads. She is a familiar face in Tamil circle right now.

 

Sakshi was born in Nainital. But her family shifted to Chennai when she was quite young. Her father is from Rajasthan who runs a successful business in Chennai and Sakshi often helps her father. Sakshi has one younger sister too. She was brilliant in her studies and loves songs of 1980s; and dances to their tunes since young. She received a gold medal from Anna University for topping 256 engineering colleges and later completed MBA from St Xavier's Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore with awards and recognitions.

 

She started her modelling career while at Bangalore and worked for over 100 commercials. She was given her first break by a fashion designer who spotted her at Bangalore. She also inaugurated many stores, acted as judge for several competitions and also did several fashion shows. She also supports "Save the girl Child" and has helped in raising funds for charity. After completing MBA, she worked in an IT company for a short while before switching fully to entertainment sector.

 

Once she returned to Chennai, she received her first Tamil assignment. The movie was a horror thriller – Yogan released in April 2015. She was paired with Yashmith for her debut movie. She received two more assignments - Aadyan and Thrittu Vcd, both released the same year. Kakakapo is her upcoming project.
