Sai Lokur Biography

Sai Lokur is a Bollywood film actress who made her film debut as a child artist through Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein (2002), where she played the younger sister of Fardeen Khan. After doing a few Marathi movies, she made her Bollywood debut as an adult actress through Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, directed by Abbas Mastan. Her mother Veena Lokur is a famous film director who owns a production house. Platform, Aamhich Tumche Bajirao, No Entry Pudhe Dhokha Aahe, Parambi, Jarab and Mee ani you are her Marathi movies. She also appeared in the films - Pakada Gaya and Mission Champion (winner of several awards) as a child artist.

 

She was born on 5th September 1989 in Belgaum in a family with film background. Her mother Veena Lokur is a famous film director and producer. She schooled from Divine Providence Convent High School and completed graduation in commerce from Ruparel College Mumbai. Since childhood she was interested in acting and played a child artist role in several movies. She was also a swimmer at her school level. She debut Bollywood at the age of 13 for Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein (2002), which was a commercial failure.

 

After a few roles as a child artist, she took a break from acting and completed graduation. Then she made her debut through Marathi movies and finally Bollywood. Sai made her film debut as a heroine through her mother’s directorial venture – Platform, where she played the female lead. She played the supporting role of Anjali in her debut Bollywood flick - Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. This upcoming actress is choosy and wants to do work on selective scripts only.
