Sahil Shroff Biography

Sahil Shroff is a successful Indian model who appears in Bollywood in supporting roles. He is best known for Shah Rukh starrer, Don 2: The King is Back (2011). Most recently he appeared in Shaadi Ke Side Effects (2014), where he worked with Farhan Akhtar, Vidya Balan and Ram Kapoor. Desi Magic is his upcoming movie, which is scheduled to release in 2014. This romantic comedy film is directed by Mehul Atha and stars Amisha Patel and Zayed Khan in pivot roles. He played the role of Arjun, Priyanka Chopra’s best friend since she joined Interpol. His role was well noticed.

He was born in a Sindhi family and brought up in Australia. He completed PG in IT. He did part-time modelling while completing studies. He worked as a bouncer in the nightclubs for a short period before returning to India. He reached Mumbai with dreams to become a model and an actor. Very soon, he got noticed as a model and appeared in many ad campaigns and commercials as well. He worked as a full time model for more than 2 years. HCL Enterprise, Tata Indica, Lux and Cadbury's Eclairs are his noted commercials and he did ramp walks for all leading fashion designers of Mumbai circle.

He also took acting lessons from acting school of Anupam Kher before plunging to Bollywood. He took voice lessons also. He was already one of the top models of the country when he reached Bollywood. Farhan Akhtar's ‘Don 2: The King is Back’ marked his successful debut and he played a cope and a good and simple friend of lead actress, Priyanka Chopra.
