Ravish Desai Biography

Ravish Desai is a successful model and popular Television actors associated with Hindi entertainment industry. Since childhood he has been fascinated with the film world, and later he earned success as a television actor. In 2013 he made his Bollywood debut through Vikram Bhatt’s horror thriller, Horror Story which earned positive response from critics. He played the lead role in the film and shared screen space with a bunch of young actors. He played among the 7 friends who decide to enter a haunted hotel at midnight.  Later he switched on to television and has been successful. He currently plays the lead role in ZEE TV’s Satrangi Sasural, opposite Vrushika Mehta. He was earlier seen in Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi and Yeh Hai Aashiqui.

He was born into a Gujarati family in Mumbai in 1986. He completed his MBA, and evn worked in corporate sector for a few years before decided to choose his real passion – acting. He became successful as a model, and has appeared in more than 50 TV commercials. He has worked with Asin, Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor for TV commercials. He made a magical entry to films, and now a popular face on small screen. He is called “RavishHolic” by his fans.

Since young he used to watch film scenes close, and enact them later. He also did fight scenes with his friends. But when he grew up his dreams to become an actor slowly faded away, and as a common Indian, he too decided to secure a good job. He worked from 9 to 6 with a risk consultancy firm. But after he watched 3 Idiots in 2010, he decided to move on and try his luck in films. That’s how acting happened to him. The movie changed his life!
