Rajisha Vijayan is a talented and budding actress of Malayalam cinema. She won the most prestigious Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress 2016 for her debut film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. She has been a successful television host before she forayed to film scene. She also played female lead in Dileep starrer Georgettan's Pooram released in 2017. She played female lead opposite Vineeth Sreenivasan in her third release, Oru Cinemakkaran, and the movie opened to positive reviews. Uggram Ujjwalam, Surya Challenge, 100% love, Ladies Only and Manassinikkare are some of her popular shows as a successful TV host.

Rajisha hails from Perambra, Kozhikode. She was born to Sheela and Vijayan. Rajisha holds a graduation degree in Mass Communication and Journalism at Amity University Noida, New Delhi. She is a trained dancer, and is also interested in athletics and theatre. She started off her professional career as a TV host with Surya TV and later moved to Mazhavil Manorama. As a TV host, most of her shows remained successful. Through the successful TV shows she hosted, she was already a familiar face among Malayali film audience before she made her film debut.

Her debut film - Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016) earned her several accolades including State award for best actress. She played female lead opposite Asif Ali, while Biju Menon and Asha Sarath played the main lead pair. Her lovable character as Elizabeth (Eli) earned her a lot of fans. Apart from receiving state award, she was also nominated at Filmfare awards in best actress category. She also won IIFA awards for best female actress for the same lead. Her pairing with Asif Ali too gathered her attention and won Best Pair award at Asianet Film Awards and Vanitha Film Awards.

After the super success of her debut film, offers came pouring in, and she was casted opposite Dileep in Georgettan's Pooram. The film fared average despite getting negative reviews. She played female lead in critically acclaimed Oru Cinemakkaran.
